Nodaway County health officials confirm 22 more cases of COVID-19


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department has confirmed 22 more cases of COVID-19 in the county. The Health Department says this now brings the total number of confirmed cases up to 838, with seven probably cases.

Health officials say there are 93 active cases in the county. Northwest Missouri State University says 11 of those cases involve a Northwest student or employee.

So far during the pandemic, there have been 34 hospitalizations. Four people are still hospitalized. Officials continue to strongly urge the public to social distance and practice good hygiene.
